Granite countertops are wonderful but Corian isn’t letting up easily. Getting Jackson WY granite countertops is not an easy decision to make.

Corian has been recently giving granite a serious run for its money. 

We however have some information about both of them that you could consider.

Composition 

Corian is man-made countertop material. The fact that it is man-made gives it a sort of stable pattern. Hence its wonderful affinity for modern or ultramodern spaces. 

Granite is a natural stone. This fits into just about any environment. If you are a fan of more natural themes, granite is for you. 

Seaming/ Installation 

As Corian countertops are man-made, their installation or seaming is more perfect. Virtually seamless.

However, granite countertops require a more skilled hand for the installation. The seam might still not be as perfect, but it can be made pretty good. 

Resistance to Scratches 

Corian bruises quite easily. In fact, you would not be doing yourself a favor if you do not have a chopping board. But if you love the appearance of a Corian countertop, you just need to be a bit more careful.

But granite does not have this limitation. It will take quite a bit to scratch granite. You almost have to put in a lot of deliberate effort to do that.
